Differences from conventional detectors: ADPLEX system offers better and advanced communication management between ADPLEX sensor and control unit and is easier to install and maintain.
The ADPLEX system is a multi-function communication system for security system sensors, developed by KingSecurity. Using a simple two-wire connection, it enables bidirectional communication of analog and digital data from the ADPLEX sensor, while also providing power to the sensor. Unlike traditional systems where detectors simply send a relay output to a control unit upon detecting an alarm, the ADPLEX system allows bidirectional communication and control of sensor-related information such as sensor ID, sensitivity settings, and device status (including environmental anomalies and malfunctions). This significantly enhances the overall reliability of the security system. Furthermore, the system allows for remote adjustment of sensitivity settings and firmware updates from a control unit, enabling efficient and flexible operation of individual sensors to suit the specific needs of each installation site.
